Tour Starts from Kolkata and one night stay. Then go to NJP by Train and onward go to Sikkim is a tiny Indian state in the northeast that shares its borders with Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. Other top tourist attractions in Sikkim include places like Khangchendzonga National Park, Rumtek Monastery and Nathula Pass. Regions like Lachung, Lachen, Pelling, Zuluk, Yuksom and Kalimpong are where you’ll see the sheer beauty of Sikkim. People often choose to include Darjeeling in their Sikkim holiday packages due to its proximity to Sikkim. If you plan on getting a complete experience of Sikkim then you should visit it during festival time, when the distinctive culture of Sikkim is most prominent. Again back to Kolkata and stay one Night and onward go back to Bangladesh.
Itinerary :
Day 01 : Arrive at Kolkata Airport and then go to Rail station for NJP by Train. Overstay at Train Journey.
Day 02: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (125 kms / 4 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 03: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) Which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)
Day 04: Gangtok Local Sightseeing – Darjeeling (115 kms / 4 hrs)
This morning start for a half day trip of Gangtok city covering Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 3-4 hours). Afternoon drive to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 05: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 06: Darjeeling – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (98 kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast Check-out from hotel and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey to Kolkata by Train.
Day 07 : Arrive at Kolkata and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 08 : Check out from Hotel and go to Airport for onward journey to Dhaka by Air.
