Travel to India – Rules and Regulations

As per Indian Ministry of Health & Welfare with their circular of Guidelines for International Arrivals (in supersession of all guidelines issued on the subject on and after 20th Jan’22) dated 10th February 2022 and with effective from 14-February-2022 following changes shall be imposed unless further advisory attained. 

Travel Guidelines for Bangladesh to India: 

  • Fully vaccinated passengers traveling from Bangladesh don’t need Pre or Post RT-PCR COVID test.  
  • If the passenger is not vaccinated or child over 5 years old without vaccination need to proceed for RT-PCR COVID test report valid with 72 hours of departure.  
  • Quarantine not required on the destination. 
    • All passenger should submit a self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal before the scheduled travel and upload their COVID Vaccine Certificate or negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report on Air Suvidha portal:

    • Additional requirement for Chennai bound passengers: they need to register for TN-ePass through the following link:

    • Travel Guidelines for India to Bangladesh: 

    • Passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR test report from a government-approved lab in India (ICMR) issued not more than 48 hours before departure date. The negative RT-PCR certificate held by the passengers must have a valid QR code except child under 10 years old.
