About
Dr.(Prof) Amit Kumar Agarwal had received various medals and distinctions during his medical career. He has been conferred the Honorary Adjunct title of ‘Professor’ in recognition of his contribution to Research and Academics by Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF) in February 2017.
He has done his post graduate training in orthopaedics from prestigious ‘Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER)’, Chandigarh and done his senior residency at ‘All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)’, New Delhi. He continued his training in the UK and worked as a clinical fellow at Sunderland Royal Hospital, NHS. He is ECFMG(USA), ATLS and ITLS certified.
He is a ‘programme chair’ of MCh (Ortho) Programme at Texila American University, South America (MCI and WHO recognised). He has numerous publications in indexed and non- indexed journals on various orthopaedic subjects. He has presented several academic lectures at various National & International conferences. His expertise includes Orthopaedics, joint replacement and spine surgery.
